Energy Fuels expects to finalize its acquisition of Australian Strategic Materials (ASM) on August 28, 2026. This transaction advances the company’s strategy to establish an integrated, Western-based mine-to-magnet rare earth supply chain.
The deal includes ASM’s operational metals plant in South Korea and a planned facility in the United States. These assets will complement Energy Fuels' existing uranium operations to enhance its rare earth sector capabilities.
Market participants have shown increased enthusiasm for the development leading up to the closing date.
