Dell Technologies will anchor a new AI park in Lanarkshire, Scotland. The project is supported by a £202 million National Wealth Fund guarantee as part of a £300 million financing package. Dell is relocating its Scottish team to the site to expand its AI data-center capabilities.
Separately, Dell announced a new ObjectScale software-defined configuration. The system supports KIOXIA 245.76TB NVMe SSDs to achieve 9.83PB of raw storage in a 2U rack space. This technology targets the high-capacity data demands of AI and big data analytics.
