Airtel Africa commenced a share buyback program on May 22, 2026, to repurchase up to 1% of its issued share capital. The Board initiated the move to return cash to shareholders and demonstrate confidence in the Group's balance sheet.

The program starts today and is scheduled to conclude by November 27, 2026. Barclays Capital Securities Limited will manage the initial tranche through on-market purchases.

This initial phase includes a non-discretionary component of $50 million to $60 million. It also allows for a potential discretionary addition of up to $50 million. Airtel Africa will cancel all repurchased shares to reduce its total share capital.
