Federal authorities investigate a near-miss incident at Boston's Logan International Airport on Saturday. The incident involved an American Airlines Boeing 737 and a Delta Air Lines Airbus A319. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) opened probes into the runway incursion.

The American Airlines flight took off on an intersecting runway as the Delta flight approached for landing. The Delta crew executed an emergency "go-around," aborting their landing to avoid a potential collision. Aviation experts estimate the jets came within 300 feet. No injuries were reported. The Delta flight landed safely afterward.
