Apple requested the Competition Commission of India (CCI) dismiss an ongoing antitrust investigation in a June 25 submission. The company formally accused investigators of copy-pasting allegations from competitors like Match Group and Paytm.

The filing challenges a 2024 conclusion that Apple abused its dominant market position through App Store policies. Apple claims the CCI Director General failed to independently verify rival statements before repeating them verbatim.

The tech giant also alleges that Indian investigators replicated materials from a European Union ruling. Apple argues these findings ignore the specific market conditions present in India.
