AbbVie announced positive topline results from its Phase 3 EPCORE DLBCL-4 trial for epcoritamab on June 29, 2026. The study evaluated epcoritamab in combination with lenalidomide for adult patients with relapsed or refractory (R/R) diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). All participants had received at least one prior therapy.
The trial met its primary endpoint by demonstrating a statistically significant improvement in progression-free survival compared to standard chemoimmunotherapy. This chemotherapy-free combination reduced the risk of disease progression or death by 60%.
The combination's safety profile matched the known profiles of the individual drugs. AbbVie developed the treatment in partnership with Genmab.
AbbVie will now begin discussions with global regulatory authorities regarding these results. Detailed study data will be submitted for presentation at a future medical conference.
