Air Canada ratified a new collective bargaining agreement with 11,000 employees in its Technical Operations, Maintenance, and Operational Support group. The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) represents the affected staff.

The four-year agreement remains effective from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2030. This ratification marks the airline's sixth labor deal successfully completed this year.

The agreement concludes negotiations with all of Air Canada's major unions following the expiration of previous long-term contracts. CEO Michael Rousseau stated the company is now positioned to execute strategic plans and enhance stakeholder value.
