Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen will step down after 18 years leading the company. Narayen has served at Adobe for a total of 28 years.
He will remain CEO until the Board of Directors appoints a successor. Narayen will then transition to Chair of the Board. The Board is currently evaluating both internal and external candidates.
Adobe announced the transition on March 12, 2026. The company reported record first-quarter revenue of $6.40 billion. Non-GAAP earnings reached $6.06 per share.
