Adobe appointed Anil Chakravarthy as its next President and CEO, effective December 1, 2026. Chakravarthy will also join the company’s Board of Directors.
He succeeds Shantanu Narayen, who will transition to the role of executive chair. Narayen served nearly two decades as the company's CEO. Adobe first announced this succession plan in March 2026.
Chakravarthy is an internal hire currently serving as president of Adobe’s Customer Experience Orchestration business. The leadership change aims to accelerate growth and the integration of artificial intelligence across the company's software portfolio.
