Airbus SE delivered 67 aircraft in April, bringing its 2026 total to 181 units. This represents a 5.7% decrease compared to the same period in 2025.
The company is currently accelerating production following a slow start to the year caused by engine shortages. Following the delivery report and a note from Jefferies, Airbus shares fell sharply and underperformed the CAC 40 index.
In separate developments, the manufacturer is negotiating with Export Development Canada to secure financing for AirAsia’s recent order of 150 A220 aircraft.
