Deutsche Lufthansa ordered 20 aircraft from Airbus and Boeing. The deal has a total list price of $7.7 billion. Airbus will supply 10 A350-900 models.
Deliveries are scheduled between 2032 and 2034. The aircraft replace older, less fuel-efficient models.
Ethiopian Airlines is in early discussions with Airbus. The potential order includes A350 and A220 jets.
