AMD is increasing prices for consumer and server CPUs, following similar moves by Intel. Surging demand for AI infrastructure is tightening semiconductor capacity and causing component scarcity.

Consumer CPU prices rose 5-10% in March. Server CPU prices increased between 10-20%.

Management expects further price hikes through the second and third quarters of 2026. Cumulative increases on specific products may reach 17% as the company transitions to 2nm production. AMD will maintain its 3nm portfolio during this shift. Supply shortages are projected to persist through 2026 and into 2027.
