AMD detailed its next-generation data center strategy at Computex 2026. The company introduced 6th Gen EPYC processors, codenamed Venice, built on TSMC 2nm process technology. These Zen 6 architecture CPUs will feature up to 256 cores to increase performance and density.

AMD also launched the Helios rack-scale AI platform for large-scale training and inference. This open, standards-based system integrates Venice CPUs with Instinct MI455X GPUs and advanced networking. AMD is collaborating with partners Super Micro and Celestica to release the platform in late 2026.
