Amazon Web Services (AWS) expanded its Amazon Bedrock service on AWS GovCloud (US). This update provides government agencies access to third-party artificial intelligence models from OpenAI, Meta, Anthropic, NVIDIA, and xAI. The platform also includes Amazon’s proprietary Nova models.
U.S. federal, state, and local government customers can now build generative AI applications within a secure cloud environment. The service manages sensitive data and regulated workloads exclusively on U.S. soil. U.S. citizens manage the infrastructure to meet stringent security requirements. This expansion allows government entities to select specific models for specialized tasks while maintaining compliance.
