Pinterest expands its collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The company commits $4 billion for cloud services. This commitment extends until 2031. This agreement marks Pinterest's largest infrastructure investment. The partnership began in 2010.
The deal aims to accelerate Pinterest's artificial intelligence roadmap. It will also enhance the user experience. Pinterest has over 600 million monthly active users.
Pinterest will utilize AWS's custom silicon, including Graviton and Trainium chips. These chips will train and deploy large language and visual models. This powers features like personalized visual search. It also improves advertiser performance on the platform.
