Amazon Web Services (AWS) and The Biological Computing Co. (TBC) are launching the first neuron-derived AI video model. The technology utilizes software based on measurements of living neural activity.
The model claims to reduce inference costs by 80% compared to its open-source base. It also generates video five times faster than the original model.
TBC will run the optimized model on AWS Trainium infrastructure. The tool will be available to customers through Amazon SageMaker AI and the AWS Marketplace.
This collaboration expands AWS's portfolio of high-efficiency AI technologies. The move aims to strengthen the company's competitive position in the cloud and AI sectors.
