Amazon Web Services and NVIDIA expanded their strategic partnership to address rising artificial intelligence infrastructure demand. AWS will deploy 2 million additional NVIDIA GPUs globally throughout 2027 and 2028. This new commitment builds upon an existing order of 1 million GPUs.
The companies will co-engineer solutions for agentic and physical AI applications. AWS will integrate NVIDIA Vera CPU-based infrastructure into its cloud services. NVIDIA Nemotron open models will launch on the Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker platforms.
The partnership includes building AI factories for the U.S. government. The initiative will deploy 100,000 GPUs on secure AWS infrastructure. These systems will support federal and national security workloads.
