American Rare Earths appointed Andrew Conover to the newly created role of Chief Development Officer. Conover will lead the Pre-Feasibility and Final Feasibility studies for the Halleck Creek Rare Earths Project in Wyoming. The appointment aims to transition the asset toward the construction phase.
Conover brings nearly 20 years of mining project execution experience across the Americas. He previously managed a copper-molybdenum mill restart with a US$350 million capital budget. This hire bolsters the company's internal project delivery capabilities for its key asset.
The company also announced the retirement of Dwight Kinnes. Kinnes previously provided significant contributions to the development of the Halleck Creek project.
