AST SpaceMobile successfully deployed phased-array antennas for its BlueBirds 12 and 13 satellites in orbit. Each antenna spans approximately 2,400 square feet. BlueBird 11 is operating as expected as its deployment sequence continues.
These milestones support the development of a satellite constellation for direct-to-cell phone broadband services. US Mobile plans to launch AST SpaceMobile-powered coverage on Verizon-based networks in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The company is currently preparing satellites 14 through 16 for the next mission. Manufacturing is underway for additional units through satellite 42.
