Broadcom unveiled AgentMinder, an enterprise software solution. It manages and controls autonomous artificial intelligence agents. The company announced the product at the VMware Explore 2026 conference.
AgentMinder functions as a traffic controller. It verifies an AI agent's identity and authorizes its actions based on mission, intent, and risk before agents access company resources.
The solution addresses risks from AI agents accessing sensitive data or making unauthorized changes. AgentMinder provides a governance framework, including runtime policy enforcement and detailed audit trails for anomaly detection.
Broadcom uses the system internally. It handles nearly 36 million daily customer-related requests. It also manages over 20 million customer identities.
