Boeing commenced operations at its new 737 MAX assembly line in Everett, Washington, on July 6. The North Line serves as the company's fourth assembly line for the narrow-body jet. This marks the first time Boeing has produced 737s at the Everett facility, which historically handled wide-body aircraft.
The company recently received FAA clearance to increase output to 47 jets per month. Boeing aims to reach a production target of 52 MAX aircraft per month by early 2027. The new Everett line is a key component of the strategy to meet these production goals.
