The Boeing Company entered seven-year framework agreements with the U.S. Department of War and Raytheon. This partnership increases production of critical hardware for the Standard Missile-3 (SM-3).

Production focuses on avionics and ejector assemblies for SM-3 Block IB and Block IIA variants. These components are essential for the sea-based Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense System.

The agreements provide a demand signal for Boeing and Raytheon before a formal multi-year contract. This initiative aligns with the Pentagon’s strategy to accelerate the delivery of critical defense capabilities and strengthen the U.S. defense industrial base.
