Boeing secured an order for 14 new aircraft from Biman Bangladesh Airlines. The parties announced the deal on April 30, 2026. The order includes 787 Dreamliner and 737 MAX jets.
The purchase carries an approximate value of $3.7 billion at list prices. This agreement represents the largest single order in the history of the Bangladeshi flag carrier. Biman Bangladesh Airlines will use the fleet to modernize long-haul and regional routes.
Boeing won the contract following a competitive bidding process against Airbus. Boeing shares rose nearly 2.5% during trading on the day of the announcement. The order increases Boeing's backlog as the company scales production and deliveries.
