AI² and X Square Hit $2.9B Valuations, Rivaling US Robotics

AI² Robotics and X Square Robot reached valuations of nearly $2.9 billion each following recent funding rounds. These capital injections support China’s strategic push to compete with prominent US robotics firms.

X Square Robot closed a Series C financing round that valued the company at over $2.8 billion (RMB 20 billion). Major technology players including Alibaba, Xiaomi, Meituan, and ByteDance have backed the startup across its funding stages.

AI² Robotics secured approximately $736 million in its latest financing round, according to Bloomberg.
