Value investor Mason Hawkins and his firm, Southeastern Asset Management, exited their position in Bio-Rad Laboratories during the second quarter of 2026. According to a delayed regulatory filing from August 14, the firm sold all 162,800 of its shares, a stake previously valued at approximately $45.4 million.

The disclosure, which reflects trades made by June 30, comes as Bio-Rad reported flat year-over-year revenue for the same quarter, citing softness in its Life Science division that offset growth in Clinical Diagnostics. The company is also initiating a restructuring plan to improve profitability amid a cautious outlook for the remainder of 2026. Southeastern has not publicly commented on the reasons for its sale.
