Baker Hughes secured a substantial contract from Searah North Ganal Limited, a joint venture between Eni and PETRONAS. The agreement provides subsea production systems and digital solutions for the Kutei Northern Hub development offshore Indonesia. The project integrates the Geng North and Gehem fields.
The company will supply 17 deepwater horizontal tree systems, manifolds, connections, and control systems. Baker Hughes will also deploy its Cordant™ asset protection and condition monitoring systems to optimize production and mitigate risks.
The development aims to bolster Indonesia's liquefied natural gas (LNG) capacity and domestic energy supply. Manufacturing will occur at the Baker Hughes facility in Batam, Indonesia, with additional support from its Balikpapan site.
