Residential construction AI startup Digs has raised $25.3 million in a Series A funding round led by building materials giant Builders FirstSource. The investment includes a five-year commercial agreement to integrate Digs' AI platform, which creates a "digital twin" of a home by consolidating construction documents, into the supplier's digital ecosystem.

The strategic partnership aims to provide advanced digital tools to Builders FirstSource's more than 140,000 customers. This integration is expected to streamline workflows across the entire homebuilding lifecycle, from initial estimates and procurement to post-construction warranty and homeowner support.
