BlackRock is expanding its Southeast Asian green energy footprint through the Emerging Asia Infrastructure Credit Fund.

The blended finance debt vehicle targets $750 million in total capital. This fund finances industrial decarbonization and low-carbon infrastructure projects. Target markets include the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

The International Finance Corporation committed up to $50 million in anchor investments to support the fund. This commitment includes a $40 million senior tranche.

This support aims to mobilize further private and institutional capital toward emerging market climate transition debt.
