BlackRock reduced the in-kind conversion minimum for its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) from $25 million to $1 million. Robbie Mitchnick, BlackRock’s head of digital assets, confirmed the policy change on Bloomberg Television.

The move opens direct redemption and creation mechanisms to a broader pool of mid-sized institutional investors. This change allows more participants to exchange Bitcoin directly for IBIT shares.

Increased participation helps the ETF price remain closely aligned with the underlying value of Bitcoin. The fund continues to secure hundreds of millions in inflows as BlackRock expands its digital asset market share.
