Warren Buffett endorsed Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh, calling him a "good choice" to lead the central bank. In a CNBC interview, the Berkshire Hathaway CEO expressed confidence in Mr. Warsh's commitment to the Fed's dual mandate. The mandate targets 2% inflation and maximum employment.

Mr. Buffett acknowledged the difficulty of the role. He highlighted that Mr. Warsh "cares about the country."

Mr. Warsh took the helm in May. He has signaled a "regime change" in Fed policy to decisively tackle inflation. Mr. Warsh is currently delivering his semiannual testimony before Congress.
