BTQ Technologies received final regulatory approval from French authorities to complete its acquisition of QPerfect. The deal for the Strasbourg-based quantum software firm is valued at up to €24.26 million.
The acquisition transitions BTQ from a post-quantum security specialist into a fully integrated quantum technology company. BTQ will integrate QPerfect’s MIMIQ™ quantum emulator, digital twin, and control system technologies into its portfolio.
These assets enable the design and testing of quantum algorithms prior to hardware deployment. The French government approved the transaction on the condition that QPerfect maintains its operations and research and development within France.
