Nuburu Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 70% controlling stake in Tekne S.p.A. This Italian defense and security firm specializes in military mobility and electronic warfare systems.
The deal supports Nuburu’s strategy to build an integrated global defense platform by combining its laser technology with Tekne’s expertise.
Completion depends on authorization from the Italian government under its Golden Power framework for strategic national assets. Nuburu will submit its formal notification within 10 days of the May 26 signing.
Tekne projects cumulative revenues of approximately $655 million between 2026 and 2030. Nuburu’s 70% pro rata share of this forecast totals about $459 million.
