Blackstone Raises Record $13.1 Billion for Asia, Beating $10 Billion Target

Blackstone closed its third and largest Asia-focused private equity fund, Blackstone Capital Partners Asia III. The fund secured $13.1 billion in capital commitments.

This total surpassed the initial $10 billion target and hit the fund's hard cap. The raise more than doubled the capital of the predecessor vehicle.

Blackstone deployed over $7 billion in the Asia-Pacific region over the last two years. The firm completed 12 deals during this period. Investment strategy focuses on markets including India and Japan.
