Caterpillar, a brand renowned for heavy industrial machinery, has made a significant move into the consumer vehicle market with the unveiling of its 2026 Pickup Truck. This new vehicle is designed to cater to both professional and daily driving needs, positioning it for use on construction sites as well as for urban and off-road personal use. The truck will be available in multiple trims, including a standard, premium, and an 'Off-Road Pro' version, with prices anticipated to start around $48,000 and go up to approximately $75,000 for high-end models. The vehicle will feature a 6.7-liter turbocharged diesel engine, with a hybrid variant also being offered. Technologically, the pickup will be equipped with advanced features such as adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, and connectivity through the Caterpillar Connect app for remote vehicle monitoring. Pre-orders are expected to begin in late 2025, with deliveries slated for early 2026.
