Tianci International (CIIT) announced progress on its strategic cooperation with Greypole Mining to develop gold and chromium resources in Zimbabwe, pursuant to a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding from April 14, 2026. While resource assessments are ongoing, the companies are establishing a local chromium supply chain to meet growing customer demand.

Key Details

  • Resource Assessment: The partnership is evaluating a prospective 500-hectare gold-bearing zone in the Gwanda region and a 1,500-hectare chromium-bearing zone in Zvishavane.
  • Chromium Supply Chain Initiative: To support immediate client demand, the companies are building a localized chromium sourcing network, including leasing land, constructing storage, and procuring processing equipment.
  • Phase 1 Target: The initial supply chain development is expected to include 12,000 square meters of warehousing and target an average supply capacity of 10,000 tonnes of chromium products per month.
