Cummins Inc. updated its 2027 North American on-highway engine launch plan. The company will implement a phased rollout for its new HELM™ engine platforms.

This adjustment follows proposed changes to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency emissions regulations. Limited production for the new X10 and X15 engines begins in January 2027. Full production for these models is expected by the fourth quarter of 2027.

Cummins will continue producing current X15, X12, and L9 engines during the transition. The company confirmed its long-term product strategy remains unchanged. Cummins shares traded slightly lower in premarket activity.
