Coinbase filed two notice registrations with the SEC to offer leveraged, single-stock perpetual futures to U.S. investors. The filings cover the company's regulated derivatives exchange and brokerage units.

The initiative enables round-the-clock trading of derivatives tied to individual stocks. This move marks a strategic effort to bridge cryptocurrency and traditional financial markets.

The SEC and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) will provide joint oversight for these products. Coinbase has not yet specified which stocks will be available or when trading will officially begin.

This expansion follows Coinbase's existing offering of similar products to eligible traders outside the U.S.
