Coinbase Global Inc. and CEO Brian Armstrong are increasing political spending ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
The company contributed $24.5 million to the Fairshake Super PAC. Brian Armstrong personally added $1 million to the total contribution.
This $25.5 million infusion makes Coinbase the largest single donor to Fairshake this cycle. The contribution accounts for roughly one-third of the PAC's reported funds. Fairshake currently holds $85 million in total capital.
Ripple and Andreessen Horowitz also provide financial backing to the PAC. Fairshake supports candidates who favor clearer regulations for the digital asset industry.
Industry leaders view this spending as a pivotal effort to establish favorable U.S. legal frameworks.
