Cocoa Processing Company PLC reported a net loss of US$5.91 million for the six months ending March 31, 2026. This figure represents a 45.4% increase from the US$4.07 million loss recorded in the same period of 2025. Total revenue declined by 4.8% to US$12.13 million.

Production expenses reached US$14.36 million and exceeded total revenue. The company recorded a gross loss of US$2.23 million. Processed cocoa bean volumes fell by 57.6% due to operational challenges. Management attributed the financial pressure to lower production and rising input costs.

Confectionery sales grew from US$4.78 million to US$7.07 million. This segment now serves as the company's primary revenue source. Local sales increased by 51.6% to reach US$6.86 million. Export sales decreased by 32.3% over the half-year period.
