Salesforce and Anthropic expanded their strategic partnership through a new integration called Claudeforce.
The system connects the Salesforce CRM platform directly with the Claude AI model. Users can query and update live Salesforce data within the Claude interface. This integration reduces the necessity of using the traditional Salesforce application for routine tasks.
The Salesforce in Claude plugin features 37 pre-built sales skills for meeting preparation and pipeline analysis. Claude now serves as a primary reasoning model for Salesforce Agentforce. Anthropic's model also becomes the default AI for the Slack platform.
The product is currently available to pilot customers. An open beta release is scheduled for September 2026.
