Salesforce Japan will provide Slack as a standard, free offering to all new and existing customers starting May 15. New users will receive an integrated Slack workspace automatically. Existing customers can enable the CRM integration through their admin settings.

The company introduced Slackbot, a new AI agent capable of autonomously retrieving Salesforce records and creating channels. This agent also triggers workflows and drafts emails.

The initiative positions Slack as the primary conversational interface for the Salesforce ecosystem. This shift supports Salesforce’s push toward an agentic enterprise, a strategy recently highlighted at its Singapore World Tour event.
