Salesforce and its subsidiary Slack filed a lawsuit against Microsoft in London’s High Court on April 23. The legal action alleges unfair competition regarding the bundling of Microsoft Teams with the Office software suite. This filing follows a previous complaint Slack submitted to the European Commission. The plaintiffs contend that Microsoft’s practices stifle customer choice and harm market competition.
CEO Marc Benioff also announced plans on April 23 to hire 1,000 graduates and interns for AI projects. These new roles will focus on the Agentforce and Headless 360 platforms. This recruitment drive follows the layoff of nearly 1,000 employees earlier this year. Some of those previously terminated positions were reportedly part of the Agentforce teams.
