Brad Gerstner's Altimeter Capital increased its conviction in CoreWeave (CRWV), raising its stake by 35% during the second quarter of 2026. According to a mid-August SEC filing, the firm added roughly 1.57 million shares, bringing its total position to 6.07 million. The value of Altimeter's holding in the specialized AI cloud provider grew from approximately $349 million to $605 million during the period.

This disclosure, which reflects trades made between April and June, is consistent with Gerstner's publicly bullish stance. Altimeter was an investor in CoreWeave before its 2025 IPO and has described the company as a unique and strategically important player in the AI infrastructure buildout. The filing follows CoreWeave's Q2 earnings report, where it announced that revenue more than doubled year-over-year to nearly $2.6 billion amid massive demand for its services.
