Deutsche Bank reported a record after-tax profit of €4.1 billion for the first half of 2026. This result represents a 9% increase compared to the previous year. The second quarter generated a record €1.9 billion in post-tax profit. The bank has now achieved 20 consecutive quarters of year-over-year revenue growth.

Growth occurred across all four business divisions. The Investment Bank recorded its highest-ever second-quarter revenues. Return on tangible equity reached 11.9% for the first half of the year. The bank launched a new €500 million share buyback program funded by current-year earnings.

Management expects full-year revenue to reach approximately €33 billion. The Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) ratio stood at 13.9%.
