Deutsche Bank signed a 10-year partnership with UK fintech Thought Machine to modernize its core banking infrastructure. The bank will deploy the cloud-native Vault Core platform for its German personal banking and wealth management divisions.
This transformation aims to consolidate 15 legacy core banking systems into just two. The overhaul targets reduced operational complexity and faster product launches.
Development and testing will begin in late 2026. Phased product migrations will follow in 2027. GFT Technologies will serve as the lead transformation and system integration partner for the implementation.
