John Deere has introduced "JD," an AI-powered assistant integrated into its John Deere Operations Center platform. The tool functions as a conversational chatbot, allowing farmers to ask questions and receive insights based on their own historical and real-time field, machine, and operational data.
The assistant is designed to help farmers analyze trends and make more informed decisions regarding aspects like fuel consumption, seed performance, and ideal harvest times. The AI analyzes only the specific farm's data and does not scrape public information or share data with third parties. JD will be available at no extra cost to Operations Center users, with an early access program starting for some U.S. farmers and wider availability to follow.
