Datavault AI (NASDAQ: DVLT) signed a definitive agreement to acquire BankWyse, a financial institution holding a Wyoming Special Purpose Depository Institution (SPDI) charter. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition integrates a licensed bank into Datavault’s operations to complete its data monetization ecosystem. BankWyse will provide custodial and commercial banking services for both digital and fiat currencies. This integration directly supports Datavault’s core business of data monetization and the tokenization of real-world assets.
