🔴 GrafTech International is trading 7.32% down in pre-market after JPMorgan reiterated Underweight following permanent Monterrey closure

GrafTech International is trading 7.32% down now at $6.20 after JPMorgan reiterated its Underweight rating following the permanent closure announcement for the Monterrey, Mexico facility.

• The shutdown is expected to reduce annual graphite-electrode capacity by approximately 51,000 metric tons.
• GrafTech expects $20 million-$25 million in annual cash savings.
• The wind-down should conclude in early Q2 2027, with production partly transferred to Spain.
