Ecopetrol finalized the settlement and payment for a 25% stake in Brava Energia. The transaction was completed on August 17, 2026. This follows a successful voluntary tender offer auction concluded on August 5, 2026.
The deal establishes a controlling interest of approximately 51% in Brava Energia’s voting share capital. This majority stake includes a separate share purchase agreement for an additional 26% of the company. The acquisition expands Ecopetrol's footprint in the Brazilian energy market.
