Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly inaugurated the first phase of the El-Gharably Industrial Complex in New Borg El-Arab City, Alexandria, on June 7, 2026. The facility provides integrated engineering and steel structures for Egypt’s infrastructure and energy sectors.

The industrial complex spans a total area of 315,000 square meters. Its annual production capacity exceeds 100,000 tons. The first phase includes a 100,000-square-meter factory dedicated to steel structures.

The project currently employs 3,000 workers. Management plans to expand the total workforce to 5,000 employees. Operations utilize local iron to support national strategic initiatives.

Strategic partnerships with global firms aim to facilitate technology transfer and boost exports. The complex holds international quality, safety, and environmental certifications to compete in global markets.
